About Enviro Courses

Structured Solutions for a Sustainable Future

We teach practical environmental problem solving because the planet doesn’t need more theory, it needs real action. At Enviro Courses, we believe anyone can make a difference - if they’re equipped with the right tools. Our mission is to help everyday changemakers, professionals, educators and community leaders confidently solve environmental problems using proven, structured methods. Whether you're tackling plastic waste, energy use or biodiversity loss, our goal is to make environmental improvement measurable, achievable and lasting.

Our Story: From Business Efficiency to Environmental Impact

Founded by Chris Reed, a seasoned Lean Six Sigma consultant with over 25 years' experience, Enviro Courses is built on the belief that structured problem solving isn’t just for businesses - it’s a powerful approach to solving today’s urgent sustainability challenges.

Chris began his career in manufacturing and operations, later founding Lean6Sigma Ltd, where he trained hundreds of teams across New Zealand to think smarter and work more efficiently. As environmental issues became impossible to ignore, he saw an opportunity: adapt these proven tools to help people tackle environmental challenges with the same clarity and confidence.

Why structured problem solving?

Most environmental projects fail not from lack of passion, but from lack of structure. Our adapted Lean Six Sigma–inspired tools help you get clear on what’s causing a problem, where to act, and how to know your efforts are working. That’s what turns good intentions into lasting results.
